Performance :

- Double clear round in the final of the 4 year old ISO 131 – BSO +23 (0.44)

- He was then exported to Australia where he started by jumping 2 metres in order to escape from his pen during his time in quarantine.

- As a five year old he was champion of champions in the challenge “Jumping with the Stars” pulling out all the stops to qualify over the 1.30 circuit.

- As a six year he was champion Young Event Horse (dressage, cross country and show jumping) at Sydney Royal Show.

- He continued in being placed regularly in Events from 1.30 to 1.50 m

- 3rd in the Wodonga World Cup Young Horse Futurity (1.50) - 3rd in the Championship Final for Australian Young Horses. (1.40)

In 2006 he took the Grand Prix Copabella Classic, was 3rd in the JK Williams Grand Prix, 4th in the Elysian Series Grand Prix, and 7th in the World Cup Qualifier during the Gold Coast World Cup Carnival.

In December 2008, he was second in the World Cup Qualifier in Sale in Australia in December 2008 (1.60) ridden by Chris Burton

Visage returned to France in 2009 into the care of Stephan Lafouge, champion of France (2008). The partnership began by approaching the Internationals like future champions. They get on together remarkably well. The stallion is a strong horse who commands respect and has a perfect technique. He is full blooded, capable of great speed, has a wonderful mouth and is well balanced. He is always willing to try and has an enormous heart. Some have compared him with an Anglo …… Coloured (of course).

This remarkably intelligent horse has already had a great deal of success as a stallion and even has a fast growing “fan club”. All those who get close to him are won over by his gentle nature and his endearing personality. Visage is a true gentleman.

Visage is a very respectful, powerful horse with perfect technique. He is capable of going very fast, has a very good mouth and a lot of balance. He is always ready to go and has a huge heart.

He seems to transmit all his qualities : all his offspring are chic, they have very good technique and strength.

His father, Limbo, (by Concorde), a finalist at 4 years old in Belgium was ridden up to the CSI level under the saddle of Chrystel Ribes and Alexis Gautier, ISO 130 and then was dedicated exclusively to reproduction.

Despite his young age, he has already produced several approved stallions :

• Visage de van Olmenhoeve ISO 135 (5 years old) was exported to Australia where he was renamed Copabella Visage and won in large trials from the age of 8

• Willem Van Erpekon, ISO 126 (4 years old) was classed Elite at Fontainebleau and sold well at the Wonderboy Fences (ISO 124)

He also produced the excellent

• Nureev du Houssoy, ridden in the international trials by Robert Whitaker

• Nepos van Limbo, was also ridden by John and Robert Whitaker, and unfortunately passed away from colics in 2006 when he was going to catch the plane for the CSI in Vienna. This very promising 9 year old horse at the time had won the Queen's Cup at the CSIO in Barcelona a few months before.

The Whitaker brothers, who are passionate about Tobiano horses (see the stallion Utah van Erpekom), have other young Limbo's in preparation in their stables and are very interested in his son, Visage's offspring.

Visage has produced many youngsters born at the Morinda Stud: for example, amongst others, Togouun Morinda and Topstar Morinda, both born in 2007, and both absolutely superb. Unfortunately Togouun suffered an accident and is unable to compete. In 2008 our coloured brood mare Stacy (by Samber) gave us the magnificent Vizir Morinda Z, sold whilst still on his mother. And following him, in 2011 and 2012, Besame d'As Morinda and Corsica Morinda, both with the same maternal bloodline and for whom we have great hopes. At the very least, one of them is destined to become a stallion. And we must not forget Stacy's daughter, and that of Une Star Morinda, the very beautiful Daylight Morinda and Dragibus Morinda, both born in 2013.
